Our employees not only transport, but also support our local operating communities. With more than 9,000 members of the Student Transportation Inc. family, drivers, dispatchers, safety personnel, and others play a unique and positive role in the lives of the students across North America. Every year, our employees are volunteering and donating to help worthy causes in their respective communities. Meanwhile, our company’s Education Foundation raises money and provides scholarships to high school seniors in the areas we serve. We are committed to improving the quality of life in the communities we serve and believe passionately that what we do makes a difference for children and their families.
Student Transportation Inc.’s regional management and local employees are mothers, fathers, neighbors, and friends with roots that go deep in the communities we serve. STI donates services and countless hours each year towards local community service. Whether it is a clothing drive, food drive, or scholarship fundraiser, Student Transportation Inc. prides itself on the charitable efforts of its employees. Mobile Studio Connects With Kids
The STA Education Foundation has partnered with Carolina Studios, a non-profit youth music and media arts program spearheaded by Mark Bryan of Hootie & the Blowfish. An STA school bus has been transformed into a mobile recording studio. It will travel to schools and Boys and Girls Clubs throughout the Greater Charleston Area to provide a fun and safe after-school environment for kids to channel their energies, develop valuable computer skills, and feed their passion for music.
